Prior to becoming an Interactive Designer I explored several other creative roles, initially Art as a general practice with Art Installation, moving on to Environmental Design, Motion Graphics and Graphic Design.
I have over 6 years of professional experience in the Moving imagery / Visual based industry. I spent one year expanding my interactive skills by attending an MA Interactive Media course at the London University of The Arts - London College of Communication, expanding my knowledge of theoretical consideration towards New Media.
I am currently interested in developing a new digital communication style, with specific focus on social interaction in the physical world.
After graduating, using my understanding of 3D animation and image I was able to work for a Motion Graphics Team, creating music videos, TV adverts, and promotional videos. I also had the opportunity to explore printed media.
After 3 years of graphics/ moving image experience I became interested in the interaction between people via objects rather than screen and computer based communication.
Featuring in ID Magazine was the trigger to go abroad. I came to the UK to expand my understanding of New Media and gained interactive skills as well as theoretical thought. My most recent interests have been towards social aspect via digital media, especially about the relationships between people in public. The idea seems to be associated with the idea of Environmental Design.
